crab on a wire
from one of our many camping trips to mosquito lagoon. on this trip we were fortunate to catch several blue crabs. thats josh, my brother-in-law, who is cooking up crab legs over the fire. he designed a crab leg holder out of a coat hanger. its amazing how sweet crab tastes without any seasoning.

film shoot
ok, so i know this isnt a picture of a dead duck or a fish but i new that that could only last so long. trust me next time i go fishing i will post some pics of the gigantic fish I catch. hehe! plus ive been getting some requests for different stuff.
so this is from a short film shoot that i helped out with all day yesterday. that is joe and jim, the creators of blackwater elegy, trying to diffuse an HMI light. joe asked me to man the camera for this short. we had a lot of fun but i think we would all agree that we could of used some more time.

kissimmee bass
i grew up fishing lake kissimmee. there r some big bass down there like this one i caught back in the day. it will be an interesting change for the bassmaster classic this year since they r fishing kissimmee during the spawn. last year was in pittsburgh where the largest fish was somewhere around 1 1/2 lbs. this year the big ones will be up over 10 lbs.

been sick
forgive me for not posting, ive been sick with the flu the last couple of days. the fishing pics r of josh (my brother-in-law) and myself with a couple of nice sea trout. one of our mosquito lagoon trips we took when he use to live down here. he recently moved back to tennessee, where he and his wife r from (looser). i tried to tell him there r no sea trout or red fish in tennessee but he didnt listen. the last picture is of josh, jen (his wife) and lavender (his new daughter). his new daughter was born on tuesday, so congrats josh!!! and i miss my fishing buddy!!! come back and we’ll teach lavender and fern how to fish together.

muck about
thats me out at crooked lake. looking for a wood duck that fell into the flooded grass and timber. what u dont see is that richard is laughing and taking pictures, there is open water on the other side of the camera, and a couple of gators that are roaming the area. of course my woodie fell into the thick stuff out of sight. and of course i felt obligated to try and find it. i dint realize how deep it was or i probably wouldnt of gotten in. the water later came up to my chest. man, i need a good dog!!!

dead duck
again one of richies photos, of course i did all the sweet photoshop work to it! as u can see when we r out in the field richard spends a lot of his time taking photos, which might explain why i shoot more ducks than he does and he wins larger photo awards than i do. actually i saw 2 different sets of ducks come into the decoys while he was busy shooting pics. however, its because of this great sacrifice that i have all these awesome pics to post.
this is a belly up ringer that dustin shot down on our last hunt (nice shot duke).
