was suppose to fish a tourney tomorrow morning but we decided not to and to just go fish out at south chain for fun. thats donald hig behind me in the pic, vince is the shadow on my shirt taking the picture. we caught several fish. vince lost a 7 pounder next to the boat but landed this beauty in the picture where hes looking oh so sexy without his shirt on. the best thing i caught was the gator. he put up a great fight but in the end he was no match for my 65 lb braid. its funny, because while we were out in cali the number one question about florida was "what about all the gators" and my first fishing trip out...well you see the picture. dont worry, the gator is alive and well waiting to grow up and eat a tourist from california.

i think it was 4 or 5 bass. but i would trade a bucket full for one gator!
how many fish did you miss on that crankbait? not to mention the toad...oh i guess i just did...sorry!
well, a lot of fish missed the toad i was throwing, i think my presentation was a little too good... got the fish so excited they couldnt think straight... however the number of fish i caught on the crankbait far exceeded the number of fish you caught, so im not worried about the ones i let get off...
"let get off" thats an interesting way of putting it. i would say those two big fish you "let get off" far out weighed all the fish you swung so eagerly into the boat.
and those fish that "missed" your toad, do you mean the ones that were on for two minutes and then shook you off at the edge of the boat?
or do you mean the "gar" that swallowed your toad, pooped it out, looked a lot like a bass and then managed to get off your hook?

is it just me or can you see the big dipper in moles on my left side...
