a good friend of mine, joel batts, sent me an email the other day of his biggest bass to date. he caught it on a sinko rigged carolina style. pulled it out of a brush pile. the bass weighed 14 1/2 pounds and measured 26.5" long. a monster bass! the fish was released alive and well. great catch joel! keep on fishing and sending me pictures.

Looks like your buddy was fishing the bottom with an 8 pound honey glazed ham and lost his bait to the fish! Really nice fish.

ragin, didnt get much fishing in since it was a youth group function. the little that i did, didnt produce any fish.
Better luck next time. I was hoping to jump in the 'yak this weekend but it looks like it will rain over here. Oh well.
Holy crap. I can't believe I know someone who knows someone who caught a fish like that. Unreal.
