the temp was 28 degrees with ice on the windshield when i headed out this morning. it felt good! it felt like duck hunting weather. i had decided that i was going to try and only take drakes. i accomplished that goal but was one bird shy of my limit. i passed on several hens and stayed extra long but alas i could not get that last drake. im not opposed to shooting hens, just wanted to see if i could hold back and only shoot drakes. i had one dive on me in the weeds and never come back up. i hate losing birds!!! all in all a wonderful day on the lake. trying out a new look for the self portrait
