thanksgiving birdie












johnny b joined me on my annual thanksgiving hunt. we didnt see a ton of ducks but its always nice to be on the marsh with friends. birdie got the chance to make a few retrieves and did an excellent job. she wanted us to shoot everything that flew by.

How often do you run across gadwall in FL? We shot some the other day on Toho. I'd never seen one here. Got a couple nice drakes. Thinking of getting em mounted....but kinda iffy. One still doesn't have it's best plummage. What are the odds of finding more?

ian, i have never shot any on toho. we see them down in the stas and merrit island.
